Effective 25 September 2026
LoanLedger ("the Service") is operated by Maple Linens Inc. ("we", "us"), a company incorporated in Canada. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms.
LoanLedger lets a household record loans and mortgages, the payments made on them, and lump-sum prepayments, and shows calculations such as balance, interest paid, and projected interest savings. An optional AI assistant answers questions about the household's own records.
All figures are calculated from the information you enter and from standard Canadian mortgage interest conventions. They are estimates for planning only. Your lender's statement is the authoritative record. Confirm prepayment limits, penalties and tax-account rules with your lender before acting. We are not a lender, broker or financial adviser.
A household is created by its admin, who is responsible for the members they add and the permissions they grant. New households are reviewed and approved by us before they can sign in. We may suspend or deactivate any household or user that breaches these terms or that we cannot verify; deactivating a household admin deactivates all of that household's members.
The Service is provided "as is". We may change, suspend or discontinue it, and we may change these terms; continued use after a change means you accept it. We do our best to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Maple Linens Inc. is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on the Service's figures, from unavailability, or from unauthorised access that results from a compromised password. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Canadian law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
